Lotus Hot Pot & Grill

This is my favorite place in town. Chinese style "hot pot" broth soups and Korean style barbecue. Fresh, authentic, and delicious food.You cook your own food that they prepare fresh for you. You can customize whatever you want, and they are very helpful to explain what everything is and what it tastes like.

Yum! Sooo good. Bring your friends to share in this communal food experience. The basic idea being you cook your own noodles, meats and veggies in a super flavorful broth and personalize with the sauce bar. The staff is so nice and will walk you through everything if you’re feeling unsure. Two thumbs way up.

First time going to a hot pot restaurant. Very fun. So many new things to try. We are definitely going back to enjoy something different. Great energy and social hang out feel

It's really nice inside. The designs and interior decoration are really pretty and welcoming. Tables are clean. Staff is friendly. This is my first time eating at a hot pot restaurant so I can't really compare it to others. The food is good. Their broths are delicious.I did notice that once they got busy, their service is very slow. Possibly due to understaffing. Otherwise, I enjoyed it here.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight for our 1yr anniversary and it was delicious! So much food we brought most of it home

One of our new favorite places! We had the mushroom broth and the spicy house special with a meat combo and mushroom combo....couldn't have been happier!Looking forward to making this a regular date night place. The activity portion of it keeps everyone off their phones and engaged!

I love this place. Amazing food.

First time in this establishment for lunch on a Sunday .Place is clean,vegetables were fresh and our server was helpful,friendly and our food was served timely.We had 2 different broths(spicy and herbal).Overall I think this is the best hot pot in KC.

Really enjoyed this place. Staff was very friendly and helpful as this was our first time there. The menu can be a little overwhelming but it is due to having so many choices to add to your broth. It is probably the largest list I have ever seen at one of these Hot Pot style restaurants. Tried the house broth as well and the Herbal broth. I don't do spice do that House broth was too much kick for me but the wife loved it. The Herbal broth no spice but full of flavor. My go to was a little noodle, mushroom, and shrimp with a touch of garlic and chopped green onion. Excellent! We will be back soon!

Our late lunch was very delicious. We each got our own personal bowls.

If you live in the Northland I highly recommend recommend checking out Lotus Hot Pot and Grill. If you don't live in the Nothland I highly recommend a trip out. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly.The experience was amazing and the food was even more amazing! The price could get high bit there are options that can help keep your budget in mind.

Delicious. Hope you come here with a full wallet and an empty stomach. We probably spent way too much, but everything looked too good to pass up on. First time I was there, we ordered the wagyu. Never had wagyu before, so I'm not sure if it was legit or not, but it was good. Anyway, service was remarkable both times. Food was on point. Definitely recommend, but it's definitely a once a month or later type restaurant because it can be quite pricey. Three adults and one 3 year old, we managed to spend about $170. First time was $140.

Waited 10 minutes to be recognized as a guest. Was given a menu, waited 10 more minutes for someone to collect my order. Left because they hadn't come back to take the order. It wasn't particularly busy and they seemed sufficiently staffed.

Great spot for an original experience! We enjoyed both the Korean BBQ and the broth. If it's your first time and not big on spicy food, try the Herbal Broth. I wouldn't recommend the combo veggies as most of them we didnt use in the broth. The meat combo though was plentiful. The grilling was fun but I wish the whole surface cooked evenly. Also the lady who mainly worked our table was extremely helpful and without her we would have been lost. I would recommend they assist new comers a little more so they don't feel lost and want to leave. But we will go back!

This is the best hot pot that I have ever had. Many great flavors and good quality meats and vegetables. They also do Korean BBQ, which is great also. Their induction cooktops for both the hot pot and bbq are great.

It's a delicious hotpot and cheap prices. I love it and I wish and hope they will be open in MN Saints Paul.

Friendly staff, super fresh meat and good broths. In my opinion it was actually kind of cheap. We got 2 broths, a large order of the meat combo, some veggies and some noodles. The amount of food we got could've easily fed 5 people.

Great food, good experience and good staff. This is a place I would recommend groups of 3-4 to get the most bang for your buck.

Hot pot was your standard affair. House special broth was ok. Advertised as spicy, but found it to be in the mild side. Flavor seemed to be chili paste base. Herbal was better, light and pleasant scent, just under seasoned to allow for addition of meats to enhance flavor profile. A bit pricey for what you get.

Food is fresh and delicious! They need more staff, they are seriously understaffed. But that doesnt matter. The broth, quality, freshness of ingredients outweigh all the cons. Bring a date, bring your family, its a great time!

We have been waiting for this to open for quite a while! We were excited to pull up and see it had opened. The restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated. The tables/burners are top notch. We had excellent service and any questions we had were answered. Everyone was friendly and helpful! We did both hot pot and BBQ. We did the mushroom broth and the spicy broth for the hot pot. We did marinated pork belly for the bbq. And spring rolls to start. Everything was fresh and delicious! The sauce bat is a wonderful touch! We live an hour away and Saigon Plaza is a place we go to at least twice a month. This restaurant is another wonderful addition to this area!! We will be back soon!!

This place was great! We really needed a hot pot restaurant in KC, and now we have a great one. We tried an herbal broth and a spicy broth and both were excellent. There is a wide variety of high quality meats to choose from and prices are quite reasonable. I also though the table setups were cool. There are individual burners at each seat and a larger communal one in the middle. Each person can do as he or she pleases or share one together. Its also a way a single diner can go and enjoy hot pot by themselves.

So worth the price and quality of food.

Hot pot and Korean bbq together! This is one of my all time favorite meals but we always had to make it ourselves. The menu had all our favorites! The broth was hot and ready to cook almost right away. So we had all of the joy without hard work or wait. I loved the decor and the staff was attentive. I'll be back again!

Great food! I had the herbal broth and the Fit assortment of meat and veggies. The broth is so flavorful and the individual induction burners are a great feature!

Ate here for the first time, very good, their special spicy soup base is fantastic.

We went there during the soft opening. The resturant is located in a strip mall inside pagoda village. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. The tables had built in stoves. We order two different types of broths, the spicy and herbal. There was a huge selection of meats, seafood and vegetables. The broth were very aromatic and full of flavor. This place reminds me of the authentic hotpot I had when I was visiting China. Great food and a great atmosphere. Definitely going back.
